Kavya is built to respect your privacy. We do not require an account, we do not show ads, and we do not sell or share your personal data. This policy explains the little data the app does handle.
Your favourites, reading and listening history, bookmarks, notes, reading preferences, and playlists are stored only on your device using Apple’s on-device database. We cannot see them.
When you use the line-by-line explanation feature, the text of the selected public-domain poem (its script, transliteration, and translation) is sent to our backend to generate the explanation. We do not attach your name or any identifier to this request, and we do not store the requests after the explanation is returned.
Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your payment details. Apple shares only an anonymous transaction record used to unlock Kavya Pro.
Kavya does not use third-party advertising or cross-app tracking, and does not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA).
Kavya is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
